Asteria, the titaness of the stars, is the queen of the Astral Palace, a castle among the stars. She appears as the main character in the Eclipsed Deities novel: Her Darkness and His Star.

ASTERIA (aa-ST-RIY-aa) is the divine daughter of COEUS and PHOEBE. She dwells in the Astral Palace, a castle among the stars, as its queen and commands her astral subjects, the various constellations, from it. As the daughter of two titans, she was arranged into a marriage with PERSES, and from this union, she gave birth to Hecate, their only daughter. However, her marriage with the titan of destruction wasn't harmonious, even after they were both given clemency after the Titanomachy.
Through her estranged relationship with Perses, Asteria found more comfort dancing among the stars that she weaved into existence each night. On one of these fateful nights, she met the primordial darkness, Erebus, and their dangerous, star-crossed love birthed the Eclipsed Deities: entities of Chaos.
Furthermore, when Chaos gained full control of Erebus, Asteria was imprisoned in the stars where she weeps from the heavens, and begs of her children to save her and their father from the clutches of the dark lord.
PERSONALITY
Asteria is compassionate, hard-working, loving and somewhat shy and cautious. Due to her passive and sensitive nature, she's not one for combat or confrontation, rather she remains open and neutral and seeks the peaceful path if possible. As with this, whenever danger approaches, the constellations that adore and respect her willing come to her aid to defend her.
Additionally, because of her strain relationship within her marriage, Asteria has the tendency to be extremely guarded at times. However, with the right amount of patience, she'll fully open up to anyone.
PHYSICAL APPEARANCE
Asteria's sapphire blue eyes, with the depths of a starry night, compliment her long and wavy blonde hair. Crowning her head is a laural gold circlet. With porcelain, almost flawless skin, she wears a dark blue, blue and golden gown that blend well into the stars and night sky she dances among.

EREBUS (Eh-ruh-buhs) is the son of Chaos, and the ruler of the In-Between, a place of judgement before passing into either the Elysian Fields or Tartarus. Imprisoned here, Erebus is unable to leave the In-Between due to a dark prophecy that forsees the return of Chaos through him, and therefore, bringing ruin to both the mortal and divine realms.
He is also its ruler, yet the title offers nothing but loneliness, emptiness and an overall depressing mentality he wishes to get away from. It also doesn't help that he has a strain relationship with his ex-wife, Nyx, who prevents him from seeing the three children he has with her.
However, Persephone gives him this opportunity, and through this, he meets and falls in love with Asteria, the Titaness of Stars. Their star-crossed romances becomes the catalyst to the inevitable fulfillment of the prophecy. Erebus' is split between two personas, where one has a dark hold on him, and his children, the Eclipsed Deities, have descended onto the mortal realm, bringing nothing but calamity and tyranny across the lands.
PERSONALITY
Erebus is kind, gentle, but can also be pessimistic and cynical. He feels he has the most to lose and doesn't have any true friends. His two friends, Hades, Persephone, and Charon, are friends through a matter of convenience--they all work in the same location. So, if he feels he will never have anyone who will understand him or will only see him as a liability. He butts heads with Hades frequently because Hades is more resistant to Erebus leaving the Underworld.
To him, he feels as though he's the prisoner and Hades is the warden, so he is never truly free even though he can roam the Underworld when his job for the day is complete. With Asteria, he wants to be more understanding, he wants to believe in love. But he's scared to open up and be disappointed. He also worries about when his happiness will disappear because it was only a matter of time with Nyx.
PHYSICAL APPEARANCE
Erebus's eyes, while a dark golden shade, can have a sorrowful glare in them that is dulled by darkness, and never appears brighter than his surroundings. He has long, shoulder length black hair, that is sometimes crowned by a laurel of thorns, and porcelain skin.
His clothing is typically dark and suits his brooding figure. At will, he can also turn his entire body into shadows.

HESTIA HALE (Hess-te-ah) is the daughter of Alexander Hale and Rebecca Hale, and is the main character of the Eclipsed Deities series. When she was a child, Alexander, and Alastair's father, were sent to the battlefield to against the Aequalitans. During this time, Hestia built a strong bond with her mother as her father was often away, adhering to his duties in the Pyrkagìa. She also had a close bond with Alastair, her childhood friend, too.
After her father left the Pyrkagìa, their relationship strengthened in the years before Hestia turned 13 and joined the Pyrkagìa. Alongside Alastair and Seraphim, she underwent harsh blacksmith training at the hands of Master Haemon. However, after seeing the injustice, pain and destruction across the mortal realm, as seen in her own nation, Hestia's innate drive to heal the fallen leads her down a path both dangerous and dark.
PERSONALITY
Hestia is empathetic, brave, confident, passionate, emotional, impulsive, and short-tempered. She dislikes being told what to do, and will often go out of her way to prove people wrong. She frequently clashes with Alastair over what future is best for her, but that doesn't change the way she feels about him. She works hard to prove she is capable of being a strong soldier. Once she sets her mind on something, she sticks with it and does her best to excel.
However, her impulsivity often leads her to make premature decisions that might not be in her best interests or in the best interests of the people around her. Nevertheless, she always makes a decision with her family and friends in mind, even if she fails to assess all potential future consequences.
PHYSICAL APPEARANCE
Hestia has striking, blue eyes that fit nicely with her auburn hair, now cut short into a bob, which was once elegantly long. Alongside beautiful auburn hues, complimented by the blue depths in her eyes, she has tan skin that perfectly shines light on her beauty altogether.

ALASTAIR ROMANOS (ae-luhst-uhr) is the only son of Mikaela Romanos and Sebastian Romanos, and is the childhood friend of HESTIA. Around the same age as Hestia, when they were just children, both his father, Sebastian, and Hestia's father, Alexander, were sent to the battlefield to fight against the Aequalitians.
Given that his father was away because of his Prykagìa duties, Alastair had a stronger relationship with his mother, Mikaela, and through this, did he bond strongly with Hestia (as their mothers were best friends). However, upon returning from the battlefield, Sebastian didn't return unlike Alexander. Soon after, an invasion occurred in their hometown, which ended in the death of his mother.
He was taken into the Hale family where he continued to live alongside Hestia till they both entered into the Prykagìa. Alongside Seraphim and Hestia, he endured harsh blacksmith training at the hands of Master Haemon. But when Hestia decides to embark on a dangerous quest to save the Celestial Deities, he goes with her to both support and protect her from harm.
PERSONALITY
Alastair is playful, passionate, confident, and sensitive. He dislikes it when people ignore his suggestions or think he only makes them to inconvenience others. He always thinks with good intentions for those he cares about. He likes to tease Hestia because he's had a crush on her since they were children. But because he shares very different views from her, they often butt heads on what's best for their future.
At the end of the day, he is a dependable friend who wants nothing more for his friends and family to be happy. He also has a hidden trauma as a result of losing his parents at a young age, and for this reason, he doesn't like to talk about them much. However, when he's with Hestia and her family, he doesn't feel as alone.

Alastair has chocolate brown eyes that are fitting to his tawny-colored hair, a seemingly rare to find in Aithne. He is pretty tall compared to his childhood friend, Hestia, and has a thin yet muscular build.
